FAQs
Ask me anything!
Why did you rewrite all the scenes?
Bungie is currently hiring for a Narrative Designer which is my dream job. I wanted to do something to stand out and Project Passion was born.
Why call it "Project Passion"?
It's catchy and gets my point across. Writing and video games are my passions, and this was a project for my application. And who doesn't like a little alliteration?
Do you honestly think you qualify?
I think I do. It's up to Bungie to say yay or nay. If I didn't try I would never know, and I'd rather be turned down than live my life wondering. There's people who qualify more than me, I realize this, but that shouldn't stop me from reaching for the stars.
Did you go to college?
No, I've never had the opportunity. While yes I could quit my job and take out a bunch of loans, I don't want to put my husband under the stress of being the only source of income for us.
What makes you think you can work at Bungie without getting a college degree?
First of all, the job I want does not have it as a requirement. Second of all, talent cannot be taught but honed through experience, both by work and fun.
Do you think you have talent?
Yes. Am I the best? No, there will always be someone who is better than me and I'm okay with this because it means I have a new goal to reach.
If Bungie does hire you, what will you do?
I'll wonder for awhile if I'm in a dream, one I'll never want to wake up from. Once the reality hits in, I'll probably cry. That's right, I said it, I'll cry from joy.
If Bungie doesn't hire you, what will you do?
There's no doubt that I'll be disappointed, but I'll atleast have the satisfaction of knowing I tried my best. I certainly won't be screaming at my tv when Destiny 2 comes out going "I could have done better!" because that's just rude for the people that did the work, I'll enjoy it like all my other games. I am going to finish writing The Enmity Hierarchy and publish it as a fanfic novel.
What do you play in Destiny?
I have an Exo Hunter, and she's my favorite. I tried a Titan, but found them too slow. I tried a Warlock, but it just didn't feel right. A Bladedancer Hunter is hands down my favorite because of Blink and the awesome hooded cloaks.
Can I add you on Twitter/Playstation Network?
Absolutely! But just know I have no tolerance for rudeness or catcalling.
I don't see my question here, can I put it in the comments? Or email you it?
Of course! The comments section is on the home page, along with the contact form to get a hold of me via email.
